Changes to Kiwi Bond Interest Rates (19 Dec 2011)
The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rate for the six-month Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.25% to 2.00%, the one-year Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.50% to 2.00%, the two-year Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.50% to 2.25% and the interest rate for the four-year Earthquake Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.75% to 2.75%, effective immediately.

The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rate for the two-year Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.25% to 2.75% and that the interest rate for the four-year Earthquake Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.50% to 3.50%, effective immediately
Introduction of Eathquake Kiwi Bond (19 May 2011)
As announced by the Minister of Finance, Hon. Bill English, in today’s Budget, the government has introduced a new four-year Earthquake Kiwi Bond. The interest rate on the Earthquake Kiwi Bond is 4.00 percent per annum. The rates for the other maturities remain unchanged.

The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rates for Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.50% for all maturities, effective immediately.
Changes to Kiwi Bond Interest Rates (7 Mar 2011)
The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rate for two-year Kiwi Bonds will decrease by 0.25% to 3.50%, effective immediately. The rate for six-month and one-year bonds will remain at 2.75% and 3.00% respectively.

The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rates for six-month and one-year Kiwi Bonds will increase by 0.25% to 2.75% and 3.00% respectively, effective immediately. The rate for two-year bonds will remain at 3.75%.

The New Zealand Debt Management Office announced today that the interest rates for one-year Kiwi Bonds will increase by 0.25% to 2.75% and the rate for two-year bonds will increase by 0.75% to 3.75%, effective immediately. The rate for six-month bonds will remain at 2.50%.
